"A Foxy Way to Learn Your ABCs is an exciting way to introduce children to their ABCs. Using a combination of stunning photographs, vivid poetry, and relevant vocabulary, the book is sure to engage emergent as well as elementary readers- especially those interested in nature and wildlife. The images and language together serve to educate children about not only about the alphabet, but the natural world around them. This charming book is enjoyable reading for both child and adult alike!"

"A Foxy Way to Learn Your ABCs is a creative way to engage and educate younger children about the natural world around us. My students enjoyed its appealing style as the information about foxes was presented by using each letter of the alphabet. The stunning photographs of foxes in their natural habitat added to the engagement of my students. A Foxy Way to Learn Your ABCs is a delightful experience for young readers!"

"The book is full of interesting information about red foxes, as well as beautiful photographs. It is not your basic ABC book for beginning readers, although they will enjoy having it read to them. The book's vocabulary is rich and geared more for children who can read at a third-grade level or higher. Each pair of pages has a four-line poem with information about the fox and a matching photo. There's not an overwhelming amount of writing for a third to fifth-grade reluctant reader but the book's content is compelling and the author uses rich words like agility, extremities, parasite and emit to describe the behavior of the red fox, so there's the challenge of learning new vocabulary. I think the book will appeal to many children, especially those who enjoy reading about animals."
